Cancellation Policy for Consumers
(A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that cannot predominantly be attributed to their commercial or independent professional activity.)

I. Statutory Right of Withdrawal

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 30 days from the day:

  • on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods, provided you ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and they are delivered uniformly;
  • on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods, provided you ordered multiple goods as part of a single order and they are delivered separately;
  • on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last partial shipment or item, provided you ordered goods delivered in multiple partial shipments or pieces.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Artur Freer, Mindener Straße 32, 32278 Kirchlengern, Germany, Phone: +49 (0) 5223 4870580, Email: info@tweeto.de) by means of a clear declaration (e.g., a letter sent by post or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this refund, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund.

We may refuse the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

Return Shipping Costs:

  • Returns within Germany: You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
  • Returns from outside Germany (e.g., Italy, France, Spain): You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. We will contribute to the return shipping costs with a fixed amount of 15.00 € (which will be credited as part of the refund or offset against a provided return label).

You only have to pay for any diminished value of the goods if this loss of value is due to handling other than what is necessary to inspect the condition, properties, and functionality of the goods.

Exclusion and Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual choice or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

The right of withdrawal expires early for contracts regarding the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene (such as mattresses or textiles) if their protective seal/packaging has been removed after delivery.

II. Voluntary 30-Day Return Policy

In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, we grant you a voluntary return policy of a total of 30 days from receipt of the goods.

  • Conditions: With this voluntary return policy, you can cancel the contract even after the statutory 14-day withdrawal period has expired by contacting us within 30 days of receiving the goods and returning them to us. The prerequisite for exercising the voluntary return policy is that the goods are returned complete, undamaged, in their original packaging, and without signs of use. For hygiene items (such as mattresses or textiles), the protective seal must remain unopened.
  • Return Shipping Costs: The same rules apply to return shipping costs under the voluntary return policy as for statutory withdrawal (costs borne by the customer for returns within Germany; a 15.00 € subsidy/contribution from us for returns from abroad).
  • Statutory Rights: Your statutory right of withdrawal (Section I) and your statutory warranty claims remain unaffected by this voluntary return policy and continue to apply in full.
